Industrial robot programmer

Programming, controlling and maintaining an industrial robot takes specialised training, experience and a certain level of expertise.  An industrial robot operator must have the right knowledge and skills, and know how to apply them. Our academy offers a Kuka, Fanuc and ABB robot programming course.  The training includes online classes, zoom sessions with the instructor, and practical classes in specially equipped rooms.  As part of the course we will teach you about:

  • The main systems, OS, power supply of a robot;
  • The key settings of a robot; The concept of calibrating and adjusting a robot;
  • Tool activation;
  • The concept of a coordinate system;
  • Programming of motion, and key coding principles;
  •  Programmes; adjusting and updating of existing programmes;
  •  Working with various tools;
  •  Introduction into the expert programming level, and the external automated control mode;
  •  The structuring, conception and implementation of programming;
  •  Variables and their descriptions;
  •  Use of arrays, structures and lists;
  •  Writing of subroutines and functions;
  •  Work with data;
  •  Programming of motion and pre-processor use;
  •  Programme execution control;
  •  External automated control mode functions;
  •  Work with inputs and outputs.

Target audience:

Specialists with a (incomplete) university degree in electronics, mechatronics or IT, with good analytical thinking and precision in work, and an Upper-Intermediate level in English, or higher.

PLC programmer

Our academy offers a course in programming controllers by Siemens. Siemens PLCs are used for automating production processes in factories. The programming of the controller is carried out using proprietary software, Siemens Step 7, and the TIA PORTAL environment. We have developed this course to combine online and practical classes.  The curriculum makes it possible to achieve the required basic level of familiarity with SIMATIC S7 systems, their main components, features, function programming, functional units, module parameterisation, and module diagnostics.

Specialists with a (incomplete) university degree in electronics, mechatronics or IT, with good analytical thinking and precision in work, and an Upper-Intermediate level in English, or higher.
